i started crocheting in april of 2020. below is a collection of the pieces i have pictures of (i'm not great at remembering to take pictures of what i make). i'll include the patterns if i know which ones they are (can't guaruntee for the ones i'm back posting)

may 12th, 2021: i really wanted to crochet with mohair during midterms just to drive myself even more crazy. this was my first time working with it and it was kind of scary, especially when i had to frog the sleeves. the pattern i used is for long sleeves, but halfway through, i decided i wanted short sleeves, so i freehanded those. i also made some matching hair bows. free pattern from brenda grobler (altered)

october 29th, 2022: had to whip up a last-minute project for halloween!

april 14th, 2022: another pattern that i loved as soon as i saw it. i want to make another one with some more interesting and bright colors. paid pattern from luckymermaidcrochet

february 12th, 2022: made this dalek for my friend's birthday. it was a nice challenge with all the small details. free pattern from lucy collin

december 24th, 2021: a little matching set of a hat and fingerless gloves i made for my mom for christmas

november 4th, 2021: this was the first top-down sweater i made and the shape was so much better than any of the boxy sweaters i've made. free pattern from vivcrochets

august 17th, 2021: i saw the pattern for the blanket with this design right when i first started crocheting and i fell in love, but there was absolutely no way i was gonna finish a blanket. so i made a sweater version for my sister's birthday. free pattern from vivcrochets

august 2nd, 2021: omg what a surprise, more fruit themed things! i used the same rough pattern as the strawberry hat to make this lemon hat

july 21st, 2021: a cute little lined bag and hat matching set! i love the fuzzy yarn on the borders. original designs

july 10th, 2021: my first market! it was a huge learning experience, but i had tons of fun talking to everyone who came by!

july 3rd, 2021: one of my first original designs! made this little bag with a record pocket for my first market at a music festival

june 16th, 2021: oh boy this one took me a while. i was inspired by all the patchwork cardigans going around at the time, and i chose to use different stitches/textures for all the squares. once i had all the squares, it sort of sat around for months before i finally sewed them together. i love the little house pockets
